RoxyLou Design + Press is a true printer/designer partnership. Beyond just a business relationship, we truly enjoy working together, and we absolutely love creating the most beautiful, highest quality stationery for your event! Please take a moment to meet our co-founders/owners.
The print component of RoxyLou began in 1939 and has been family owned and operated since. The company has grown from a small trade engraver with two presses to one of the largest engraving companies in North America… The Artcraft Company. John graduated from Fairfield University and received an MBA from Bryant University while helping to grow the business. Under John’s leadership, the company has made the INC 5000 fastest growing companies in America three times. The company now operates out of two state of the art facilities with over 50,000 square feet, 35 presses, and 10 processes.
Growth however is not John’s passion. John’s passion is producing the finest product available by pushing the envelope (sometimes literally) on what can be achieved through design. John is also a champion of engraving, serving on the International Engraved Graphics Association board for over 10 years, lastly as its president. The Artcraft Company has won over 50 international awards for excellence in engraving. As a co-founder and owner of RoxyLou, John brings the expertise and manpower to ensure quality, sustainability, and opportunity for growth in the luxury wedding design field.
When not working, you can find John at one of his four children’s sporting events, golfing, watching sports he can’t play anymore, or simply relaxing with his wife Katie and a good bottle of wine.
Michelle began her career at The Artcraft Company in 1994. Noticing opportunity in the social market, Michelle began to focus full time on the custom luxury wedding invitation niche. Having a background in fashion, she was excited to take on the creative challenge of producing custom, one-of-a-kind projects, expertly guiding her clients every step of the way through paper selections, ink colors, and printing methods. Go to Michelle with any idea, and she will make it happen!
Under her leadership and expertise, The Artcraft Company has become one of the most prominent printers in the industry for social stationery. Michelle has had numerous experiences in helping to produce successful luxury social lines with various incredibly talented designers. It is this expertise that is invaluable to RoxyLou.
As a co-founder and owner, Michelle brings a complete understanding of the market and how to excel in it. She will manage the day-to-day tasks of producing the highest quality projects on time. When not working, she loves to travel with her husband, Michael, and daughter, read a good book, and appreciates a good bottle of wine.
Robin is the creative inspiration of RoxyLou. After receiving her BA in Graphic Design, and building a successful career as a Graphic Designer and Art Director at two top New York City firms, she began her own custom stationery company, Robin K Design, in 2003. Robin’s passion has always been learning all about her clients… their own passions, how they met, their proposal story, their wedding plans… every last detail… and then translating their stories into one-of-a-kind stationery that sets the tone for the entire event. Her invitations and stationery have since brought regional and national attention. Robin’s work has been featured in NJ BRIDE, 201 Bride, Inside Weddings, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, and BRIDES New Jersey magazines, as well as on weTV’s Platinum Weddings, and TLC’s Whose Wedding is it Anyway.
Robin also understands that teaming with the right suppliers is crucial to turning her conceptual visions into reality. She has been working with The Artcraft Company since 2004, and the production quality, service level, and overall support for her business has been unparalleled. In 2011, John, Michelle and Robin decided to combine their strengths to form RoxyLou Design+Press.
As a co-founder and owner, Robin brings her design expertise, creative point of view, and years of wedding industry experience to the line, maintaining the highest standards for the RoxyLou Brand and all of its products.
When Robin is not designing, she loves spending time in the “boy’s club” with her two sons and husband, TJ. She also loves fitness, fashion, and food!
